Sunday, October 2, 2011, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, in the Senate Chamber in the State Capitol Building for the opening ceremony of "Century of Women" Exhibit. The opening ceremony will begin with an Interfaith Service followed by student presentations of their work, speakers, and multicultural entertainment.

Sunday, October 9, 2011, 6:00 p.m. there will be a Youth Forum/Panel Discussion with student representatives from Southern University, Baton Rouge Community College, and Louisiana State University at the International Cultural Center at LSU, 3365 Dalrymple Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.

Louisiana Students! You are invited to take part in World Peace Day activities by submitting an entry describing World Peace and what does it look like to you? Submit your drawings, poems, songs, pictures, or videos. If chosen, your entry may be displayed at the State Capitol Building from during the month of "Century of Women" Exhibit.
